What to include in a support request

A few details that let us fix things faster.

Updated September 21, 2026

The more we know at the start, the fewer questions we have to ask. You do not need to be technical. Answer these as best you can.

  • What you were trying to do. For example, print an invoice or open a shared folder.
  • What happened instead. Copy the exact error message, or take a screenshot.
  • When it started. Today, after an update, or weeks ago.
  • Whether it worked before, and what changed since then, if you know.
  • Who is affected. Only you, or other people too.
  • How urgent it is. Can you work around it, or are you stuck?
  • How to reach you. The best phone number, and when you are free.

Leave out passwords, card numbers, Social Security numbers and health information.
