Forgot your Windows PIN
Set a new PIN from the sign-in screen.
A PIN is a short code that works only on your computer. If you forgot it, you can set a new one.
- On the sign-in screen, select I forgot my PIN.
- Sign in with your work email and password when asked, and approve the sign-in on your phone.
- Follow the prompts to choose a new PIN.
Pick a PIN that others cannot guess. Avoid 1234, your birth year or the last digits of your phone number.
Good to know
If I forgot my PIN is not there, or it will not go through, call or text us at (231) 884-7146. The computer usually needs an internet connection for this.
