You got a sign-in approval you did not start
Deny it, then change your password and tell us.
If your phone asks you to approve a sign-in and you are not signing in, someone else has your password and is trying to get in. Your approval is the only thing stopping them.
- Select Deny. Never approve a prompt you did not start, even if it keeps coming.
- If the app asks you to type a number and you are not signing in, deny it.
- Change your password. See reset your Microsoft 365 password.
- Call or text us at (231) 884-7146 so we can check your account.

A caller who asks you to approve a prompt or read out a code is trying to trick you. Hang up and call us.
