Update your phone
Install updates that fix security problems.
- Plug the phone in and connect to Wi-Fi.
- On an iPhone, open Settings, choose General, then Software Update. On Android, open Settings and look for Software update. On some phones it is under System or About phone.
- Select Download and install, then follow the prompts.
Good to know
Updates often fix security holes. Install them soon after they appear, and back up your photos first.
