A website will not load
Work out whether it is the site, your browser or your connection.
- Check whether other websites work. If none do, the problem is your connection. See The internet is down.
- Refresh the page by pressing Ctrl + F5.
- Try the site in a private window, or in a different browser.
- Try it on your phone using mobile data. If it works there, the problem is your network or computer. If it fails there too, the site itself is probably down.
- Clear your browser cache. See Clear your browser cache and cookies.
Good to know
If a page warns that the connection is not private, do not continue. Tell us the website and take a screenshot.
