A Bluetooth device will not connect
Pair a headset, mouse or speaker that will not link up.
- Make sure the device is charged and switched on, and put it in pairing mode. Check its manual for how.
- On your computer, open Settings, choose Bluetooth & devices, and turn Bluetooth on.
- Select Add device, choose Bluetooth, then pick your device from the list.
- If it is already listed but will not connect, select the three dots beside it, choose Remove device, and pair again from scratch.
- Keep the device close to the computer while pairing.
Good to know
A headset that is paired to your phone may connect to the phone instead. Turn Bluetooth off on the phone while you pair.
