An email you expected did not arrive

Where to look, and what to send us so we can trace it.

Updated September 21, 2026

Most missing messages were filtered, mistyped or held up by the sender. Check these first.

  1. Check Junk Email. If the message is there, select it and choose Not junk.
  2. Search all folders for the sender's name. See Find an email that seems to be missing.
  3. Ask the sender to check the address. One wrong letter sends the message somewhere else.
  4. Ask them to send it again, and to tell you whether they got any error message back.

If it is still missing

Open a ticket with the sender's email address, the approximate time they sent it, and the subject. We can check whether your spam filter held it back.

Careful

Do not click links in a message that lands in Junk unless you were expecting it and trust the sender.
